This year’s Sock Hop theme is a Tropical mix of “Welcoming Summer” and enjoying some music that brings the beach to NDE! Each class has been working hard, practicing their dances and getting ready to perform on stage. The Sock Hop has been a traditional fundraiser that showcases the creative abilities of our teachers and students in a full day of performances. This year we chose songs that were tropical or reminded us of summer days ahead. The school will be experiencing a heat wave and beachy vibes throughout the week. A “LIVE” link will be sent out to our families to share and to view throughout the day! The student body will be the audience and enjoy dancing in between songs too! 

Each student is asked to pledge in the form of donations for their dance moves. The student that collects the most money in their grade level will win a basket filled with goodies and an ice cream gift card. The class that brings in the most donations will win a pizza & an ice cream party, as well as a special dress down day!

Donations of $100 or more automatically enters the student in for a chance to WIN a Season Pass to Enchanted Forest Water Safari!

BASKET RAFFLES ALL WEEK, Winners Announced on 6/2 

Tuesday, May 30th: Tropical Snack Bar will be opened all day! Prices will be posted! 

Wednesday, May 31st: “Tropical” Dress Down & Photo Shoot $5.00 per student

Thursday, June 1st: Luau Food Truck Kick Off Party in the School Parking Lot, Limbo Contest, DJ & Dancing, Games and Food.  5:30-7:30.

Friday, June 2nd: Our Annual Sock Hop 8:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. (All Day)
